SMUD BLT Cohort 14 Graduation on April 23 at SMUD Headquarters

SMUD’s BLT (Building Leadership Talent) Cohort 14 selected Three Sisters Gardens as the non-profit to fundraise for and support for 12 months (May ‘24 to April ‘25). The team has also volunteered on the farm over the course of the year and raised funds to support the Tree Nursery Project in Sacramento.

SMUD's Building Leadership Talent (BLT) program is a year-long leadership development program for a select group of SMUD employees. It aims to train and develop future leaders through leadership training and real-world projects. The program typically involves a cohort of employees from different business units, working together to learn and grow. 

Purpose: To develop future leaders within SMUD. 

Duration: A year-long program. 

Participants: A cross-section of SMUD employees are selected each year. 

Focus: Leadership training and real-world projects. 

Impact: The BLT program aims to foster a culture of leadership and continuous learning within SMUD.
