From Turtle Island to Palestine: Unity and Solidarity in Action

Join us at Three Sisters Gardens The Dugout in West Sacramento on Sunday February 1st at 2pm to experience powerful stories, music, art, and a panel discussion that highlights multicultural unity with the Palestinian people. This gathering celebrates strength and resistance across borders. This is a community event sponsored together by Jewish Voice for Peace, Palestinian American League and Three Sisters Gardens.


PANELISTS (4):

Kawthar/Nukshai

Nukshai has spoken for Justice for Palestine from her home on Warm Springs reservation to the ICE kidnappings in Portland, March to Gaza in Egypt, and Organizing with the Global Movement to Gaza for the Flotillas. (Will have artwork for sale for families in Gaza).

Josina Manu Maltzan

Josina is a writer and Jewish antizionist organizer from Minneapolis, a member of JVP-Twin Cities and the Cut the Contract Campaign, and was an international witness of Masafer Yatta, Occupied West Bank in 2024.

Sara Al Zanoon

Sarah Al Zanoon is a Palestinian Venezuelan activist. She is a board member of the Palestine American League. She has a long-standing history of working with mutual aid and immigrant rights.

Alfred Melbourne

Alfred Melbourne is the founder and director of Three Sisters Gardens (TSG), a nonprofit organization based in West Sacramento, California, dedicated to youth empowerment, food sovereignty, and community healing. A member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine Sioux Tribe, Alfred launched the org as a grassroots response to food insecurity and disconnection among urban youth. Through the practice of Indigenous and sustainable farming, TSG leads at-potential youth in growing, harvesting, and distributing organic produce while cultivating community resilience.


Opening & Closing Music by Åna Tri
Womb sisters, Kat & Kris Burce, are the ethereal harmonies behind Åna Tri. Their sound fuses tribal, world, and folk with organic vocals that speak liberation lyrics much influenced by their work as land stewards.
